Liverpool jhon Lennon airport on SECURITY ALERT

Passengers have been held on board flights after a ‘security alert’ at Liverpool John Lennon airport.
An airport spokesperson described the events as a ‘police incident’, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Other reports have suggested that parts of the airport have been evacuated while police deal with the incident.
The airport has not yet issued a statement on the incident.

During the past 24 hours, Colaba recorded extremely heavy rain of 152 mm and Santacruz witnessed 88 mm of rain. Heavy Monsoon showers have been lashing the city of Mumbai today as well. So much so that in a mere span of three 3 hours Dadar recorded 115 mm of rain, Mahalaxmi 105 mm and Santacruz 86 mm of rain.
