South Korean air forces have reportedly held shelling field exercise using the US Mark 84 bombs following North Korea's latest missile launch.
TOKYO — The South Korean Air Force carried out the shelling drills with the use of the US Mark 84 general-purpose bombs after North Korea's ballistic missile launch, local media reported Tuesday.
Yonhap news agency reported that during the exercise, four F-15K Slam Eagle fighter jets had dropped eight Mark 84 bombs, each weighting about a tonne.
The drills took place at the eastern province of Gangwon, the agency added.
