Skoda launched Octavia RS in india

Czech carmaker Skoda has launched the Octavia RS in India. The sporty saloon from Skoda has been priced at Rs 24.62 (ex-showroom). The sedan will only be sold in one trim.
The Skoda Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged TSI engine that puts out 230bhp and 350Nm of peak torque and drives a six-speed dual clutch transmission. Power is sent only to the front wheels. Although internationally the car is available with a manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system, the Indian markets gets only the automatic option and the front-wheel drive variant. The Octavia RS can achieve a top speed of 250kmph.
The Octavia RS is loaded with features. It gets an aggressive body kit with blacked-out trim bits that look really sporty. In European markets the Octavia RS is sold with 18-inch wheels but the India-spec car gets 17-inch allow wheels. The list of features also includes LED headlamps, tail-lamps, fog lamps and daytime running lights, steel exhaust tips, and a tailgate spoiler. The AVN system features a 9.2-inch touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink in-built.
The India-spec has been raised 15mm from the Europe-spec car but is still lower than the regular Octavia sold in India. On the safety front, the Octavia RS will come with nine airbags, ESP and features like Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Adaptive Cruise control, Blind Spot Detection, Trailer Assist and Dynamic Chassis Control. The suspension setup of the Octavia RS has been stiffened to compensate for the increase in power.
The price at which the Skoda Octavia has been launched is very competitive for the amount of features they are offering.

Stephen Hawking's mission to find alien life detects mystery signals

London: A mission to explore intelligent alien life in the universe has recorded some mysterious signals coming from a galaxy three billion light years away, according to an Indian-origin scientist working on the ambitious project co-founded by Stephen Hawking. Vishal Gajjar is part of the team working under the Breakthrough Listen project - set up by Hawking, one of the world's best-known scientists, and Russian billionaire Yuri Milner - to discover the truth about the universe. The latest fast radio bursts (FRBs) prove their equipment is working well and ready to pick up signs of life if they exist. "We really have no idea about where they come from," Gajjar, one of the scientists from the University of California Berkeley Research Centre, told The Daily Telegraph. He noted: "If some form of life would like to produce a signal that is detectable to another civilisation this could be a way to do it, but I don't think they are coming from intelligent civi...

Speaking outside the White House, Mattis said: "Any threat to the United States or its territories, including Guam or our allies will be met with a massive military response, a response both effective and overwhelming." Mattis said Washington was not looking for the "total annihilation of a country, namely North Korea. But as I said, we have many options to do so." Earlier, President Donald Trump, asked if he would attack North Korea, said, "We'll see." He also suggested squeezing China, the North...
